Roadside Attractions addresses the pro-life advertising permeating rural Midwestern highways. The installation offers the opportunity for direct confrontation of aggressive messages served in the same medium often used to signal the next Burger King. The encouragement of life, which these advertisements intend to carry, conflicts with the ever changing environment of a region in which death of the surroundings is a seasonal certainty.
